What the service call includes
The service call includes an on-site, comprehensive diagnostic inspection. The technician inspects the appliance, identifies the likely cause of the problem, and explains the recommended repair.
The complete repair price depends on the diagnosis, appliance type, model, and required parts. We review the repair estimate and recommended work with you before you decide whether to proceed.
You decide whether to repair
The diagnostic service-call fee is waived with repair. If you decline the repair after diagnosis, you owe the applicable service-call fee.
If you decline the repair after the diagnostic visit, the service-call fee is $80 for most standard-area residential appliances or $100 for commercial appliances or extended-area service. For an unclassified request, we establish the fee with you before scheduling the visit.
